Light Studies
So, the problem is that I have now is having TOO MUCH FREE TIME.
That's what unemployment feels like.
I have been drawing here and there, but my goal is to get re-employed, hopefully in Animation or the Game industry. (Most likely the latter since I'm based in Orange County.)
However, here's my problem:
On Linkedin, I am endorsed for storyboarding the most.
Directing wellcast was pretty much making episodes of glorified (or super simplistic) storyboards.
I apparently excel at doing gestures and quick drawings (according to my professors back then), and have a very visual imagination < things needed for storyboarding.
BUT I HAVE NO STORYBOARDING PORTFOLIO. What!?
So, I've decided to seriously hunker down and do it. I only have a few months (oi vey) to properly put it together, but I gotta take it one step at a time. The problem with storyboarding is that it also requires a lot of perspective drawing and light/dark compositions....two things I'm not very good at.
So, without further ado, Studies!
