Production Diary, Day....?
So, it's been two weeks since I last proclaimed on my blog that I would be making a trailer.
Well, like an idiot, I didn't take into account that I would also be dealing with my final project for my Maya class, along with doing work for my job, etc. I'm being honest here: this was a lot more than I expected.
I DID learn, however, how tough it is to do personal projects on your own. In addition to all the demands for my time, there's my ADD to contend with, along with just trying to come up with ideas for the darn thing. Sometimes the most terrifying thing to do is to battle it out with a blank sheet of paper. (Or, a blank canvas in photoshop.)
However, it has given me something to focus my energy on, and it really feels good to be making something for myself.
So! I'm still working on it, and - as promised - I will still post something by December 7th. I know for a fact that it won't be a completed trailer, but it will be something more developed at least. AND, I still plan on finishing it. For now, I have to duck my head and deal with real life first. Balancing between three things that all require my animation brain is a bit overwhelming, but I'm trying.
